Cobeco Pharma collaborates in the Nederlands Zekerheidssysteem Voedingssupplementen Topsport (NZVT) on a number of products of the Cobeco Sport line. The NZVT examines batches of the products to determine whether they meet the requirements to be used by top-class sportsmen.

The NZVT was founded to offer safe supplements. Under this system, supplements are produced and checked according to special quality requirements. The NZVT is a unique system set up jointly by sports organisations and the producers of food supplements and checks the supplements for substances that may hint at doping. The NZVT was set up solely to from the dope test point of view. Minor quantities of substances that hint at doping in supplements, may lead to positive dope tests without the health of the person taking the product being jeopardised. The supervision of the health aspects in The Netherlands is the responsibility of the ‘Keuringsdienst van Waren’ (Inspectorate for Consumer Goods). The NZVT consists of several departments focusing on the production of supplements, the ingredients declaration, guaranteed laboratory analyses and a clear communication with the world of sports. The NZVT offers sportsmen and sportswomen and their coaches an overview of products that meet the requirements of an additional quality control, which has been developed with the sole purpose to minimise the risk of an unintentional positive dope test.
