Boxes process

For the outside packaging (boxes) we use 260 grams 1-side solid bleached sulphate cardboard.

Our print house has state-of-the-art Heidelberg Speedmaster CD74 presses with 6 ink units, an inline cold-foil unit (standard used foil: silver), UV (spot, all-over in both gloss and matte).

Printing colors
The printing process uses Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black colors (CMYK). Optionally you can use colors that are not build up in CMYK, but printed as separate colors. These colors come from a Pantone Matching System color library and are called PMS colors.

You can choose between two ways of finishing, a varnish finishing or a UV Lacquer finishing.

Varnish finishing has the same features like ink. It will be printed on the colors and sinks into the ink/paper. Varnish gives a glossy or matte effect.

UV Lacquer works like a glossy film. It will be printed on the colors/paper and form a layer. UV Lacquer is glossy.

The finishing of both can be used all over, to cover the entire artwork or certain areas like figures, lines or words.
